There are two ways to give:

Online

  • Payroll Deduction
    By authorizing payroll deduction through the University of Pittsburgh with a minimum pledge of $2 per month.

  • Credit Card
    Please use our secure and encrypted server to make your pledge online by credit card.

  • Bill Me By Mail
    For pledges of $50 or more.

  • Stock/Securities
    Call 412-456-6813 to facilitate.

How to Give Online

  1. Click on the Donate Now button.

    This button takes you directly to United Way's University of Pittsburgh Campaign donation page.

  2. Enter your User ID and Password      Login: Pitt+First 2 letters of first name+First 4 letters of Last Name+2 digit birth month+2 digit birth day.

    Example: pittabcdef0101 (not case sensitive)

    3. Password: panthers (all lowercase)     **Please note: For security purposes, the password you created last year has not been saved.  Please use panthers and you will be prompted to change your password.

  3. Select Pledge from the left hand menu
  4. Select pledge type
  5. Enter the pledge amount
  6. Designate your Donation
    You may choose to donate to:
    • United Way Impact Fund
    • A United Way Initiative
    • An organization(s)/agency
      other than United Way
  7. Enter your donor information
  8. Review your pledge and designations
  9. Confirm your donation
