REASON #5
Because United Way helped 15,918 people with transportation to get to work and take care of their families.
More reasons to give

Pitt Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg and many other campus leaders have supported this great endeavor in past years by rolling up their sleeves and personally assisting with various projects as well as by encouraging the entire University community to join them.
In response to years of successful volunteer work, Pitt's 18th Annual Day of Caring will feature more service projects than ever, both in local neighborhoods close to campus and at agencies of regional importance. With the approval of your supervisor, you will be granted release time, free transportation to the work sites, and administrative support to make this day possible.
